MyShareIndia is operated by the MyPayIndia team. The protection of user data is taken seriously. This privacy policy applies to the MyShareIndia file sharing service.

3. File Uploads

When you upload a file to MyShareIndia, the following data is processed:

4. File Availability

All uploaded files are publicly accessible to anyone with the link. Links are randomly generated strings. There are no access controls beyond link obscurity. Files are also accessible to MyShareIndia administrators. Users should have no expectation of privacy for any uploaded file.

5. Server Log Files

When accessing MyShareIndia, the server automatically collects and stores information in server log files. These may include:

• IP Address
• Date and time of the request
• Requested resource
• Browser or application identifier

This data is necessary to operate the service securely and reliably.

6. Analytics

6.1 Umami Analytics

MyShareIndia uses Umami Analytics in a self-hosted, privacy-friendly configuration.

• IP addresses are anonymized
• No cross-site tracking takes place

Analytics data is used only in aggregated form to understand usage patterns and improve the platform.

6.2 Cloudflare

MyShareIndia uses services provided by Cloudflare Inc. for security, performance, and integrated domain analytics.

Cloudflare processes technical request data, including IP addresses, to protect the platform against abuse and attacks and to provide aggregated traffic statistics.

Cloudflare acts as a data processor in accordance with Articl 28 GDPR.

7. Cookies

MyShareIndia does not use tracking, marketing, or profiling cookies. Session cookies may be used solely where necessary for the service to function.

8. Data Retention

IP address data associated with uploaded files is retained for the lifetime of the file. When a file is deleted, whether by expiry or manual request, its associated data is permanently removed.

You have the right to:

10. Data Security

MyShareIndia uses HTTPS encryption and appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or manipulation. However, due to public nature of uploaded files, no guarantee of confidentiality can be made for file contents.
